Our Services

MOVEMENT PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Truly "personal" training

This service is most appropriate for individuals who:

  • Have failed the mobility and/or movement screens

  • Have prior or repeated injuries or physical limitations      (e.g., scoliosis, joint replacement, chronic low back pain, hypermobility syndromes, etc.)

  • Are unable to comfortably perform foundational movements (e.g., squat, hip hinge, lunge, etc.)

  • Need guidance to transition back into regular fitness (e.g., group classes, CrossFit, etc.)

  • Want to enhance exercise self-efficacy for long-term health and fitness

Following a medical history review and movement screen by an expert in orthopedic physical therapy, clients are provided with very personalized programming based on their unique movement patterns.

All sessions are completed 1-on-1 for 60 minutes and can be completed virtually or in person. Since these sessions require little equipment, your movement coach can meet with you at a location most convenient for you!

INJURY SCREEN

Save time and money by seeing a physical therapist first!

Injury screens are a great way to avoid unnecessary costs associated with physician office visits, imaging, and medication that only provides short-term relief.  More importantly, they can significantly improve your likelihood of a speedy recovery!

This service is most appropriate for individuals who:

  • Have recently experienced an acute trauma

  • Have chronic, unresolved pain from prior injury (or repeated episodes)

An orthopedic physical therapist will perform a brief clinical examination of your recent injury to determine if:

  • referral to another medical provider is necessary

  • healing would be best facilitated by physical therapy referral

  • healing would likely progress with a simple home exercise program
